News | Oxfordshire Christmas Markets 2017
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas when November arrives! The twinkle of those Christmas Markets draw us in and beg us to enjoy the festivities and fun that this special time of year brings to us all.
2017 is Stitch & Ware’s first chance to delve into the world of our local Christmas Markets in Oxfordshire where we are based, so we are excited to be joining our local community and exhibiting at our two chosen events this November.
Come along and see our beautiful ranges first hand, try things on and fall in love with the tactile winter warmers and perfect gift ideas that we have to offer.
Our first show will be taking place at Ipsden Christmas Market on Sunday 26th November, 10.30am – 3.30pm. [Location: Ipsden Barn, The Street, Nr Wallingford, OX10 6AG].
With close to a thousand visitors to the event, come along and enjoy a glass of mulled wine whilst you browse the stunning array of Christmassy treats and gifts on offer. The Market brings together local small businesses offering clothing, jewellery, homewares, hand-made crafts, home-made fresh local produce and so much more.

Set in one of the longest tithe barns in England and in aid of Ipsden Church, it never fails to draw in the crowds, being the perfect setting to find yourself getting into the festive spirit!
If you’re a late Christmas shopper like we are and find yourself stuck for new and refreshing ideas as to what to buy your family & friends - just come and see us and you’ll not be disappointed! You won’t fail to find some great gift ideas at the show so come along and get some of that Christmas shopping underway!
And if you miss us in Ipsden, we are also exhibiting at the Love Local Christmas Market in Henley-on-Thames Town Centre, Town Hall on Thursday 30th November 10.00am – 2.30pm.
The Love Local initiative was set up by a Henley-on-Thames group to promote, support & bring to the fore our local Henley small businesses. Like many towns, overheads in Henley are simply way too much for small independent businesses like us to sustain, which is why sadly many independents are forced out into the outskirts in order to survive, or sadly they can disappear altogether!
Owner of the long established Studio Gallery www.studiogalleryuk.com [Manor Farm, Rotherfield Peppard, Henley, RG9 5LA] is also one half of our Stitch & Ware brand, so we are very fortunate to be based on the outskirts of Henley's town centre. The Studio Gallery Celebrates its 10th Year this October 2017 thanks to its loyal customers who share the mutual sentiment: Think Local, Shop Local, Love Local !!!
Although an online business, we at Stitch & Ware love to work together with our local small business community and we aim to show our collections wherever we can, so do come and see us at this hugely popular Love Local event on 30th November.
